Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest
Submit your photo Oct. 14-31
It’s the 5th Annual Virtual Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest!
Carve or decorate a pumpkin and submit a photo of it to the Prescott Public Library. Open to all ages!
Sponsored by Prescott Community Ed and the Prescott Library.
Voting
Voting will be November 1-4. Winners will be announced Nov. 5.
Vote online or in-person at the library (photos will be displayed).
How to enter
- Carve or decorate a pumpkin
- Take a photo and submit it by emailing prescottlib@prescottpubliclibrary.org or texting Community Ed at 715-441-8644 October 14-31. Please include:
- name of carver/decorator
- phone #
- Age if under 18 (there will be a youth and adult division).

Gingerbread House Contest
Nov. 25 – Dec. 4 | 4-5 PM
It’s the 7th Annual Gingerbread House Contest! Use your imgination to create a gingerbread house or scene.
Don’t have supplies at home? Join us at our November Family Craft Hour where we’ll decorate gingerbread houses. You can then enter your creation into the contest! Sign up required.

Rules and Registration
The contest is open to all ages. Categories are:
- Children (grade 5 & younger)
- Teens (grades 6-12)
- Adults (ages 18+)
- Groups/families
Create a gingerbread house or scene (10″x 14″ max).
On November 1st, copies of the rules and registration forms will be available.
Display & Voting
Entries will be on display at the Library from Dec. 5-13.
Public voting will take place at the library from Dec. 5-12. Winners will be announced Dec. 13.
*please pick-up your house/scene Dec. 14-21.
